WATCH & LIsten WITH US: MADI SATO, TIMOTHY MCLAUGHLIN & FRIENDS IN NATOK ROK EARTH TRANCE

Join us in the garden for NATOK ROK Earth Trance — a unique emergent experience of music and language. The powerful voice of singer Madi Sato draws upon her indigenous heritage to weave together hypnotic earth chants. And the gorgeous bardic contributions from poet Timothy P. McLaughlin bring messages of wild nature. The all-acoustic band of woods, strings and skins provides the groundwork where mystic sound meets sacred text. The overall effect brings the listener into a deep time spell that both soothes and invigorates.Doors open at 2:00; performance begins at 2:30. ($30)
