MISSION
In 1925, Olive Rush wrote: “Artists are spiritual adventurers.” We foster creativity, artistic and spiritual adventures, and community by sharing the art, writing, family background, Quaker roots, work with indigenous Southwest artists, and the historic Santa Fe home, studio and garden of pioneering painter Olive Rush. We maintain and preserve the home, garden, collection and archives.
VISION
The Olive Rush Studio and Art Center welcomes diverse visitors and families to the living sanctuary of Olive Rush’s historic home, studio and garden. Here, contemporary and historic stories are shared, and transformative artmaking is shown, taught and practiced.
